RAC Members: $45.00/year (+$5.00/year/additional family member)
Non-RAC Members: $55.00/year (+$10.00/year/additional family member)
Membership fees are due at the September Regular Club Meeting.
Membership in the club is open to all Amateur Radio operators. There are different rates for those who are members of Radio Amateurs of/du Canada and those who aren’t. The Guelph ARC is a member of the RAC Affiliated Club Insurance Program, which provides a $5,000,000 blanket liability insurance policy for the club’s Amateur Radio-related activities, and the policy charges a higher premium for club members who are not members of RAC, hence the higher dues.
It should be noted that, if you are a member of RAC, and you are a member of the Guelph ARC (or any other club that participates in the RAC Affiliated Club Insurance Program), you are able to access that same $5,000,000 blanket liability policy for your own personal Amateur Radio-related activities.
